It's the perfect time to be in Berlin
From 20-24 November 2023, a wide range of high-ranking political and business leaders from Africa and Europe are gathering in Berlin for the G20 Compact with Africa Conference and G20 Investment Summit to strengthen private sector development and investments in Africa.
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ) aims to leverage this momentum to put a stronger focus on young entrepreneurship in Africa. For this reason, GIZ Make-IT in Africa and partners are organizing the Africa Start-up Connect Week: hosted in Berlin on behalf of BMZ.
The Africa Startup Connect Week: hosted in Berlin aims to foster the exchange with and between African and German entrepreneurs, change-makers from the wider innovation ecosystem, decision-makers from politics and business and other relevant actors in Berlin.
This dynamic week will feature a diverse range of events, workshops, panel discussions and semi-formal networking events providing a platform for exchange, networking opportunities, and innovative ideas.
